The deposit – £49
Paid upfront to secure your place and unlock the platform. From there, you can build your profile, explore camp opportunities and move through the application with support from the Camp Connect USA team.
The programme fee – £189 early bird or £249
DBS check – approximately £18
Required as part of your application, your DBS check proves you have no criminal convictions or cautions. Paid separately, directly to the DBS checking service. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed and when.
What’s included
Here’s what’s included in your Camp Connect USA programme fee – which covers a lot more than just a spot on the programme.
What’s not included
Here’s what you need to budget for, that isn’t included in your Camp Connect USA fee:
- Flights to and from the US – book early for better prices
- DBS check – approximately £18, paid separately
- US Embassy visa fee – $185 USD, paid directly to the embassy
- Personal travel insurance (optional but recommended)

No. You only pay the £49 deposit to get started. The full programme fee – £189 (early bird) or £249- is only due once you’ve been offered a camp job and you’re confirmed on the programme.
